Our mission is to foster co-operation among all Haitians living in Haiti and in Denver, Colorado. To assist each other in the time of need and share in each others happiness.  To promote programs that reflect the aspirations of  Haitians and Haitian-Americans and to make positive contributions to our community.

  1. Contributing actively towards the social, economic, educational, technological, and political development of Haiti.
  2.  Promoting mutual understanding among the members of the Association.
  3.  Projecting a positive image of Haiti and her cultural values.
  4. Gather and disseminate information which is pertinent to Haiti and/or beneficial to Haitians.
  5. Serving as a channel of communication with the people and government of the Republic of Haiti with respect to the opinions, wishes, and aspirations of Haitians in the Diaspora.
  6. Explore, establish, and implement programs for the improvement of the educational system and institutions in Haiti.

We are a not-for-profit organization under 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Service tax-exempt code, HAASCO was formed in 2002 by a group of Haitians living in Denver, Colorado. HAASCO provides services to our host communities through cultural and educational exchanges with particular emphasis on young people. 

Our Goals:

To dedicate ourselves to the unity, progress and strength of our Association and our host community; and to promote the general welfare of our members.

To keep the community clearly and reliably informed about Haiti and its people.

To organize and implement social, cultural and educational activities that meet the needs and interests of our members.

To work cooperatively with public and private agencies, businesses, and community organizations through exchange of ideas on issues of interest to HAASCO members and the community.
